I’m watching a little NBA action tonight as Kobe is set to pass MJ for 3rd on the all time scoring list. Congrats to Kobe on his impending accomplishment. But MJ did it in three less seasons. But I’ll let others debate on the significance of that. Anyway, it did get me to thinking about the all time greats and I decided to put together my own all time team. I’m not saying these are the five best players of all time, although I could make an argument for each of them. I’m just saying if I was putting together a team and could pick players from any era these guys would be my starting five. Drum roll please….

SF Larry Bird
C Wilt Chamberlain
SG Michael Jordan
PG Magic Johnson
I believe this five would dust the competition. What say you?
